We meet weekly to learn about what is happening in the are, the issues affecting the community and the amazing works people are doing. We also do several fundraising events throughout the year. Those funds go directly back into the community to benefit kids. We host many events to help kids and the community from donating books to local schools to cleaning up local parks. First Annual Kiwanis of Downtown Golf Tournament!!!!
Get ready to tee off for a good cause with the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Yakima at our first-ever Annual Golf Tournament! This event promises not only competitive golfing action but also a host of fun activities and prizes. Whether you’re aiming to win or just looking to enjoy a day on the green, there’s something for everyone.
Event Highlights Include:
1st Place Prize
Closest to the Hole & Longest Drive Competitions: Separate awards for men and women.
Putting Contest: Show off your precision and skill.
Live Raffle: Win exciting prizes in our draw.
Fun Games: Enjoy various entertaining challenges at several holes.
Supporting Our Community’s Kids: All proceeds from the tournament will benefit local initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children in our community. Your participation will help fund projects such as the establishment of Little Free Libraries throughout the Upper Valley, the construction of a new administrative building at Camp Dudley, and the restoration of Sherman Park.
Tournament Format & Details:
Format: Four Person Scramble.
Location: Suntides Golf Course.
Date & Time: July 13th, Shotgun start at 8:00 AM. Please arrive early to register.
Entry Fee: $500 per team of 4.
